No two people will tell you the same thing.
A custom shop would put the new muffler on, dyno the bike, and then adjsut sizes to get the best performance. That could be expensive.
I'd make the change, then see how she runs. if too lean, try the "white spacer mod." If still too lean, start playing with jets.
I run a 99 HD Dyna muffler (punched baffle), have removed the white spacer, and have re-jetted up a couple (I think I'm running a 155 main jet).
